We have started OuterBanks Fashion as a means of doing our bit for the betterment of the planet, humanity, and the environment. Yes, we are a fashion brand, but the environmental and human cost of the irresponsible fast fashion industry has reached untenable heights especially in the last 20-30 years.
Our focus, at OuterBanks, is to address everything that is wrong with the fashion industry today – negative environmental impact, poor labor conditions across the supply chain, micro plastic ocean pollution, and lack of transparency from farm to fabric.
If we want to provide a better future for our next generations, I am convinced, we must do our part – no matter how small it may be. We owe it to our children to leave behind a better future than what we inherited. Doing good by doing well will remain at the core of everything we do.
Profits will not drive our decision making, our impact will and we will always strive to be that “Fashion Brand with a Conscience”.
